Zeta-Jones bans Douglas' 'adult' films from kids

Michael Douglas' young children are unaware their father is an Oscar-winning actor - because his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has banned their kids from watching his adult-orientated movies.
The Mask Of Zorro beauty refuses to let her son Dylan, seven, and daughter Carys, four, see Douglas' work on films like Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct but is more than happy to show them her own movies and that of their grandfather Kirk Douglas because they are more suitable for family viewing.
She says, "They've seen (Kirk's film) 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, so they know about their grandfather. And they've seen me in Zorro and in Sinbad, the animated movie, which they are rather charmingly convinced I cut my hair for.
"But they're young, so I'm not having them seeing Michael's films with Glenn Close and Sharon Stone just yet!"

Zeta-Jones: 'Acting is a hobby'

Welsh movie star Catherine Zeta-Jones insists acting is merely a hobby for her - and would be able to cope if she never appeared on the big screen again.
The Legend of Zorro actress, 37, who reportedly earned $8 million (£4 million) in 2002 for her role as Velma Kelly in Chicago, is aware her career may falter when she turns 40.
She says, "Everything I do with my acting is a bonus. It's like a hobby. I'm not one of those people who are so self-centred that they just have to do it.
"I do the best I can with my work and when I hit 40, maybe things won't change. If (my career) falters, that's fine by me. I just think it's good I'm aware of the possibility of that."
The actress, who lives in Bermuda with her husband of six years (Nov00) Michael Douglas, divides her time between the family home, holidays and her charity work.
She adds, "I'm very philanthropic and I like investing. I love that part of my life."

Keira Knightley Says No To Hollywood Blockbusters

British actress Keira Knightley has turned her back on major Hollywood roles - because they do not challenge her emotionally. The Atonement star, 22, says she "cannot imagine" doing another big-budget Pirates Of The Caribbean-style movie. Instead she wants to concentrate on quirky small-budget films which stretch her acting skills.
She says, "I can't imagine ever doing another one. I had five months off from Pirates during the summer last year, when I made Silk and Atonement, and it was so great - I want to be able to explore emotions in smaller projects. That's not to say I won't suddenly read a big Hollywood blockbuster and go 'oooh, that might be good...' But I haven't yet."

Johansson plans to adopt

Scarlett Johansson is planning to adopt after playing a fictional nanny in her new film and realising she's a natural mum.
The actress is convinced she'd be a great mother and now has sudden plans to settle down and start a family.
And Johansson claims she'll start by opening her home to an underprivileged child.
She tells USA Today: "I would love to have kids. I haven't really figured it out yet (but) I can see having a kid or two, and I would like to adopt children.
"I think I'm tender with children. I got along really well with them. They make me feel young, like you're nine years old again."

Jolie and Pitt will never marry

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have created such a solid relationship, they have never discussed marriage and never plan to make their union official.
Jolie insists the bond they have created, since they began dating in 2005, is stronger than marriage.
She also confesses they have been put off stepping down the aisle by their previous failed unions.
She says, "Brad and I have never discussed (marriage), but I would assume - because we both went down that road before - it's not the contract or the ceremony that makes you feel solid. We've gone the other way back round, and maybe there is something to that - maybe it's hard work and the exhaustion and the children that make you feel solid."

Alba loses a tooth in kissing scene

Jessica Alba has lost her perfectly sexy look after chipping a tooth during a kissing scene in her new movie.

The actress admits she and Good Luck Chuck co-star Dane Cook went too far with one energetic love scene and they both needed dentistry work.
She explains, "I chipped my front tooth doing a kiss with Dane and he chipped his bottom tooth.
"We were doing this comedic Mr & Mrs Smith love scene, and we were slamming into walls and breaking things and tumbling over couches and stuff.
"At one point, he slammed my head into a picture frame and, while my head was smacking into the wall and breaking the picture, his teeth slammed into my teeth.
"Now I have a bond on my tooth and when I take it off I look like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber."
But Alba insists she won't be rushing to get the problem permanently fixed: "I can definitely take the bond off of my tooth and throw people off a bit. I get to take this thing off and be somebody else for a little while. It's like a disguise."
